Disclaimer of Liability and Warranties
While MicroByte Electronics ensures the optimal performance of the site, you agree that you use this site at your own risk. You acknowledge that MicroByte Electronicsis not liable for any delays, inaccuracies, failures, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, viruses, communication line failure or damage to your computer system or network.

Termination
MicroByte Electronics reserves the right to immediately terminate your use of, or access to, this site at any time, if MicroByte Electronics decides at its sole discretion that you have breached this agreement or any relevant rule or regulation or you have engaged in conduct that MicroByte Electronics considers to be inappropriate or unacceptable.

Refund Policy
MicroByte Electronics offers a money back guarantee on all items if they are returned within 21 days of purchase. We require that the item be returned in original condition with all certificates and receipts originally accompanying the product.

A Return Authority number must be aquired by contacting MicroByte Electronics prior to any goods being returned.

Please be certain to carefully package up any goods sent back to us in the post and must include the issued RA Number and a note explaining the reasons for your return.

Refunds are issued by way of cheque or credit voucher to the value of the refund. Please note MicroByte Electronics reserves the right to repair damaged goods prior to offering any refund.

No Refunds given to software or registration of software!
If the media to which the software was provided is damaged on arrival a replacement media will be provided upon the return of the damaged media.

All items to be returned to MicroByte Electronics will be at the purchasers expense.

Any components returned to us as being faulty, will be tested by us and at our Discretion will either
replace or refund the cost of the component if found to be faulty.
Full retail cost of a replacement component will be charged if at our discretion we find that the
component has been modified in any way, used beyond its maximum ratings, soldered into a circuit,
Incorrectly used, inappropriate anti-static measures have been used, has been damaged by the
user, any programmable device that has been programmed.

Documents must not be reproduced unless permission is sought in writing from MicroByte Electronics. Documents (or excerpts) that are reproduced without permission may result in legal action being instigated in relation to copyright infringements.

Shipping Details
MicroByte Electronics will deliver items by way of Australia Post.

Shipping to a PO Box
We require a Billing street address for any items that is to be shipped to a PO Box.

Allow up to 14 working days for any deliveries within Australia. Items which may be temporarily out of stock will be delivered within 21 days of goods arriving in stock.

For orders within Australia under $100 are charged $5.50 inc GST for postage (usually small low cost components).
Orders within Australia greater than $100 in value (larger Items like Development boards etc) are charged $13.20 inc GST.

International Orders are sent Via Australia Post Express Airmail service.
Cost of shipping of goods less than $100 AUD are charged $14.00.
Orders Greater than $100 AUD are charged $36.00.

Transit Insurance
All Packages are sent within Australia are sent via registered and insured Mail.
Express post and international packages are not insured -
insurance is optional at purchaser's expense!

Once Goods have left our control (dispatched) they then become the responsibility of the purchaser.
Any stopped payments with claims of non-arrival of goods will be classed as THEIFT and will be
reported to the Authorities as we will have proof from a third party that the goods have been sent.
Any claims of damaged or missing goods you must notify MicroByte Electronics immediately.

Ordering
For Ordering of our products or components is done via the online shopping cart system. You must first register your details through the online shopping cart and then may purchase online with your credit card, or print the order form, fill in the credit card details and then mail or fax the order form to MicroByte Electronics. If paying by cheque or money order you are not required to complete the credit card details on the order form - just send the order form to MicroByte Electronics along with the required payment.

We will contact you if there is to be any delays in Dispatching the goods.
We also send out a Dispatch Confirmation via e-mail once the goods have been Dispatched and have left our control.

Fraudulent use of any credit card - All details will be passed onto the Authorities.

Pricing
All pricing on the web site are in Australian dollars ($AUD) and include GST. International customers do not pay GST. The online shopping cart automatically calculates the cost of the items in Australian dollars excluding GST.

International customers are responsible for payment of
any import duties, customs fees or tax that may apply within their country.

Although every effort is made to keep the web-site up to date
Prices are subject to change without notice.

NON-Stock Items
If you require an Item that is not currently stocked by us, We may order it in for you.
MOQ (Minimum Order Quantities) May apply, and in some cases Delays up to 6 weeks may exist.
We will notify you of any Minimum Order Quantities or delays.

A 50% (of total cost) Deposit is required before a non-stock item is ordered and then full payment is required prior the goods being dispatched to you.
A 25% of total cost Cancellation fee will apply if you cancel the order at any time.

Out of Stock Items
If there is insufficient stock of an ordered item then we will contact you and give you the option to:
1) Place the item on back-order (payment of items placed on back-order is required). Once new stock has arrived, the back ordered quantity will be dispatched to you free of shipping cost.
2) Amend the Order and re-order the out of stock item at a later date.
