The Development board with its pre-configured circuit modules onboard (or externally connected circuits). Microchip's incircuit Debugger which can be used as a USB or Serial Programmer straight from MPLAB or as a Debugger with selected Devices.
InCircuit Debugging allow you to execute the code in real time and set break points in the code so the program will halt at these points. Selected register values can then be veiwed within the watch window. The ICD also allows you to execute your code one step at a time or animate code execution one step at a time. Just the same as using a simulator except that you actually interface with a real PIC connected to the real world and can read the actual PIC registers.Capture those glitches or program errors quickly and easily with this powerfull and usefull combination.
